Defining a forever family happened the first time I attended a Celebrate Recovery service at our church.  This is a family that share not only encourage, inspire and uplift you, but also know that through your habits, hangups and habits that you need healthy spiritual accountability.  I also like to call some of my family, those by choice. You have them too and many call them friends., besties, BFFs, or buddies.

From my church family at Decatur Baptist, in worship and small group, to home, work and friends, God has blessed me with a very large family. My forever family are those in the Special Olympic circle who accept me unconditional without reservation or question. Then there is my immediate family, my mother who we call Mamaw Hutty, whom I care for daily, is a golden girl through and through. She is a delight and created in me a love for fiber art and baking. I have "children" who have children and they are my forever children and grandchildren. I get to attend grandparents day and birthday parties. I love it all.

Being a mom of the cooliest three sons is the best gift of all. In this rockin' awesome set is our Garrett. He will be forever with me and is amazing. He loves worship and sports, especially football. He is my house manager and keeps our schedule running smoothly. Our active lifestyle is in part a credit to him through his Special Olympic activities. God blessed the day he came into our lives and we are forever thankful.
